Back Story
At the beginning of 2008 I took a job as front-end developer for Sole Technology located in Lakeforest CA. Relocating from Northern California I had no place to live and was planing on couching it for a few while I got on my feet. On the drive down car loaded with my personal necessities I get a call from Mark Waters.
Mark mentioned I could rent a room from him in the city of Orange if I would like. Mark was known to have a pretty sick cement bowl in his backyard and his house was not that far from the office, I was totally stoked.
As things turned out Mark had a small site going at the time (skatepunk.net) the site was Marks pet project. His goal was to document some of the things he has been part of over the last 30 years being involved in the San Jose Punk scene and skateboarding as a whole.
The original site was hand managed by him with static html and was really hard to update and maintain. So we decided to trade some web development for living at his place and skating his bowl. I think things worked out good and now Mark has fully adminable site that handel just about anything Mark want's to post.
