I had the chance to happen by this family while spending the day with my wife in the Dollywood theme park. They were really sweet and the kids were super excited to be there. I had ask them if I could take their portrait, I had noticed earlier on how proud and loving they were and need to get a photo.
The park is great for drawing not only the fans of the attractions but also the fans of Dolly. Over the summer of 2012 my wife and I had the chance to visit with my family in the hart of Tennessee. The idea was to meet them halfway so to speak in Pigeon Forge the childhood home of Dolly Parton and her amusement park Dollywood.
Over 2012 my wife and I had became mildly obsessed Dolly Parton after seeing the fan film For the Love of Dolly. After some planing and deliberation we worked with my sister and family to get a little closer to Dolly and her childhood stomping grounds.
The town of Pigeon Forge is nested at the foot of the Appalachians Great Smoky Mountains and absolutely beautiful in the thick summer heat. Loads of great swimming holes and hiking trails peeper the the area and make for great outdoor fun.
