Sometimes you loose contact of people for a while and when you meet up again you wish you wouldn't have. Shane Mesquit's not that guy. He's the one that when you see him you start smiling instantly because he is. Shane is one of those "happy people" in the sense that he is always grinning and laughing. He stopped by last week to say hi, catch up and show me some of his paintings. After talking we realized it had been at least a year since we had spoken. Didn't feel like that to either of us but as I get older the years start feeling like months just cruising past in the wind.
